Everyone makes mistakes.  It’s a part of the human experience.  The real question is-will the person do the work required to take personal responsibility for the mistake, make amends if necessary, and move on with their lives?

It does not help anything if after making the mistake, the person sits in their own personal hell, cowering in shame and refusing to engage with the world.  No matter how big the mistake, something can be done about it.

Sooner or later there will be no one left ‘out there’ to blame or publicly shame and each individual will have to do the hard work required to heal themselves. When this is accomplished, everyone will be able to live their best life in peace and harmony with themselves and those around them.
